Her name is Elisa, a girl with a beautiful smile all time, from Trieste in Italy.
She is in the United States for a 12-month cultural exchange program. In late October 2015, I firstly stopped her in front of the Flatiron building for a project I was working on. She gladly agreed to help me and told me she's from Italy. I pulled out my phone and showed her my favorite place in her country- Cinque Terre, where I visited when I was living in Paris back in 2009, then she typed in the browser on my phone to show me pictures of where she is from- Trieste, and that's the beginning of our friendship.
